India's Sweet Heart,Gorgeous model turned actress Lisa Ray, was born on April 4th to Polish mother and a Bengali father.She was born and brought up from Canada. About modeling as a career decision,Her family was involved in a car accident in which her mother was seriously injured. She couldn't join the university then because she missed the term. Then, She came back to India and it continued from where Bombay Dyeing left off.

After long gap, She came back with a vengeance and Done Lakme, Sprite, Matiz, Monte Carlo, and the Garden ad Campaigns.She has also appeared on the cover of Great Looks, Elle and Femina magazines. She came to the lime light when she was Sixteen by appearing in Glad Rags magazine.
